A Transferable Skills Analysis (TSA) is a method of evaluation that is useful in determining what types of occupations a claimant is able to perform given his/her education, experience, training and earnings potential. It is often conducted in conjunction with an independent Vocational Assessment and Labour Market Survey. In the event that a claimant is unable to perform the essential tasks of their pre-accident employment, the TSA helps determine which jobs are suited for that individual and which offer a similar salary potential, so that they can be recommended to the claimant to help him/her return gainfully back to work
